Holistic Pet Health Consultations
There are two ways to schedule a consultation depending upon where you live: via telephone or inperson office visit

If you live in the Southern California area, Susan Blake Davis conducts holistic nutritional consultations at VCA Arroyo Animal Hospital. The hospital is conveniently located off the 405 freeway at Bake Parkway. VCA Arroyo is a magnificent hospital offering the very best in conventional and holistic veterinary care. VCA Arroyo was awarded the 2005 Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Award.

Susan Blake Davis, pet nutritionist, will address your pet's entire overall health condition and offer holistic alternatives to help your pet. She will provide you with a comprehensive holistic plan with detailed information about how nutrition, diet, supplements and other holistic modalities may assist in the healing of your pet's health condition. Many clients who schedule holistic consultations already have their pet on a prescription pet food and she can help you develop a natural, balanced alternative. Susan will teach you how to prepare a homemade diet or use commercially prepared foods in combination with some homemade options specifically tailored to your pet's health condition and food preferences.
Here is the how consultations work:
1) Complete the pet health consultation form and provide information about how your pet's history. Include any time preferences--we are very flexible.
2) We will promptly email you a choice of appointment times.
3) During your telephone consultation, Susan Davis will speak with you for approx. 30 minutes and provide you with a detailed, custom holistic plan for your pet. You will receive free shipping on your first order of supplements when the products are ordered at the conclusion of your telephone consultation.
4) After the call is concluded, if you need clarification on the instructions regarding your pet's holistic plan, we will be happy to address your questions over email. Please note that we cannot provide ongoing care or medical advice about your pet over email--we alwys recommend 1 followup appointment two-three weeks after your initial appointment.

Recheck Follow-up Appointment--$68
It is highly recommended that you schedule a recheck appointment to discuss your pet's progress. In this appointment, you can review any changes in your pet's condition and Susan Blake Davis, CCN can suggest adjustments to your pet's diet and/or supplements. The purpose of the recheck appointment is to assess how your pet is progressing on the new diet, supplements and holistic regimen. It is an opportunity for you to have questions answered once you are familiar with the protocol and for Susan Blake Davis to make adjustments to your pet's program. It is highly recommended that you get your pet weighed and have additional blood and/or labaratory testing in between the initial consultation and follow-up appointment.
Please click here to sign up for a telephone consultation. We offer pet health consultations via telephone at a variety of times to fit your schedule. Once we receive your request, we will send you an email with some available times. If for some reason, you need to cancel or are not available for the scheduled time, you will be given one additional time for your consultation. Susan Blake Davis researches your case in advance and if you schedule a consultation, and are not available at the agreed upon time, you will be charged for the consultation time. Once an appointment time is established Susan Blake Davis and/or Dr. Gordon will review your pet's history and laboratory work.
