Dogs Chronically Licking Genitals
When a dog is chronically licking at the genital area, the moisture and bacteria make it an easy area for urinary tract infections to develop.  One of the primary reasons that pets lick chronically at the genital area, even if they don't have a UTI, is yeast overgrowth.    Dogs with chronic ear, urinary tract infections, allergies and skin issues may likely have a yeast overgrowth as well. In this case, it is a good idea to use Mycozyme  or the Dog Yeast Formula along with Pet UTI Prevention Formula and Probiotic.

Here is how the PET UTI Prevention Package ingredients all work together:

1)  Pet UTI Prevention Formula--acidifies the urine and helps keep bacteria from collecting on bladder walls

2) Probiotic--fights infection and yeast--imperative if your pet has been on antibiotics. If you don't use this, no matter how acid the urine, the infection will most likely return.  In your pet's best interest,  we require Probiotic to ensure success in tackling your pets chronic UTIs.  We will permit purchase of the UTI Max by itself for refills only.

3) Renelix--flushes out the toxins from the kidneys and urinary tract.  Helps restore normal kidney and urinary tract function.  Helps with inflammation, bladder and kidney stones, crystals and mineral deposits.  Use this product if your pet has ever had kidney or bladder stone or crystals or kidney disease or incontinence.

4) Akutur--fights infection, provides pain relief in the urinary tract, reduces inflammation and helps restore balance in the bladder specifically--works well in combination with the other products

These products combined are the very best way you can help your pet fight chronic UTIs.  They are easy to administer.  Renelix, Akutur and Pet UTI Prevention Formula can be combined in the syringe.  Probiotic can be given separately or with food.   

For pets with chronic infections that do not resolve:  sometimes pets need supplements to help improve immune function.  Two options are Samento (excellent especially for cats as the drops are easier to adminster) and Mycobactin (for larger pets).  Also, many pets who have had repeated infections develop a great deal of inflammation in the bladder wall.  In this case, use Notatum drops or capsules.  We have had many cat owners who finally got relief after using the Notatum drops along with the Akutur, Pet UTI Formula and Probiotic.
